Welcome and Please Feel at Home

Hello there!
Welcome to my virtual hang-out! I have used a much of my time in the last few weeks working on this. And even though I can already create a blog as you can see, I still consider myself as a newbie when it comes to building a good-looking website. To be an expert, you need to learn HTML. And like any computer language, it is very really difficult to learn. Maybe, it will take me a year to learn the lefts and the rights of website construction and to make this site eye-pleasing and appealing as I wish it to be. But anyhow, feel free to check all the nooks and corners of this site. I want you to be comfortable with my online place.

Why Do We Need Do This?
I know that some (if not most) of you  are asking and maybe complaining why do we need to go over with this kind of difficult and advanced class activity. Why can't we meet in the classroom and have the lecture the usual way? The teacher speaks in front and the students pretend to listen.

Well, here are my reasons.

Firstly, this course really requires us to learn how to manipulate and exploit Information Technology (IT) related innovations and inventions. Pure lecture cannot give justice to our subject.

Secondly, the trend is obvious. Everyone is going online and everything is now online. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Cellular phones are internet-empowered. Internet is already in one's hand anywhere he goes. This is the new way of life. Our field (classroom teaching and learning) cannot escape from this reality. So, if I were you I would start learning and be updated and competitive.
Thirdly, other schools are doing it also. See:

Lastly, it is for the sake of taking new challenges and willingness to learn.

What Are We Going To Do?
We are going to make our own website (Uh oh!). We will fill it with materials and activities for our imaginary pupils. Like these:

Final Words
So, this is the second fold of our course subject, Educational Technology II. No more snacks. I miss that. (Florgale, you there?).
